The present invention discloses an apparatus for roughening an inner surface of a spun pile, the apparatus comprising a lifting rod extending between a top end and a bottom end, a mount frame having a bottom plate, a top plate and plurality of side plates, the lifting rod is connected with the top plate at its bottom end, a motor adapted inside the mount frame, an output shaft of the motor extending downwardly of the mount frame through the bottom plate, a disk connected a distal end of the shaft, the disk rotates when the motor is actuated, and plurality of chisel members having plurality of chisel blades mounted uniformly along the circumference of the disk wherein when the motor is actuated the plurality of chisel blades roughen the internal surface of the spun pile.
